WASP Personal Protection Institute wants to help your place of worship prepare if the event of an ACTIVE SHOOTER were to occur. Statistics show that armed confrontations and active shooting incidents are steadily increasing within society and occurring at our places of worship in greater frequency.
Between 1999 and 2013 649 Deaths were recorded in places of Worship.
Nine people were killed at a historic church in South Carolina in 2015.
26 people were killed at a Texas church in 2017.
The latest FBI Hate Crimes Statistics report revealed there were 7,175 hate crime incidents in 2017, with almost 21 percent of those motivated by a religious bias.
Despite these numbers, many churches do not make security a priority.
